Progress tracking
Follow study activity and topic mastery.
Scores, topic mastery and your streak over time, so you can see what is actually improving.
How it works
One loop, not twelve tabs.
Every session feeds the next one, so the work you do is the work you actually needed.
- 01
Take a test
Ten minutes on a topic you are revising. Answers are marked the way an examiner would mark them.
- 02
See what cost marks
Every question is tied to a topic, so the gaps come out of the marking — not out of guesswork.
- 03
Revise the right thing
Notes, flashcards and a short retest aimed at that gap, then a gentle reminder of when to revisit it.

Exchange surfaces · 1 mark
A single-celled organism grows larger. Its volume increases faster than its surface area. Why does this limit how large the cell can grow?
Demonstration only. Your answer stays on this page — nothing is saved and no account is needed.

What is Revision Lab?
A revision workspace: it builds short tests from the topics you are studying, marks your answers question by question, and tells you what to work on next. Past papers, notes, flashcards and video sessions sit alongside, so everything you practise lives in one place.
Do I need an account to try it?
You can answer the demo question on this page without signing up. An account is what saves your tests, marks and progress so you can come back to them.
How is my work marked?
Multiple-choice and short objective answers are marked against the answer key, so results stay consistent. Written answers get feedback from an AI marker working against the mark criteria, plus a model answer. If a mark looks wrong you can flag it for review.
Where do the past papers come from?
The paper library is organised by subject, exam board and tier. Choosing a paper builds a practice test in the same runner you use for everything else, so it is marked and tracked like any other practice.
Can I revise from my own paper or homework?
Yes. Upload a paper, photo or PDF and Revision Lab pulls the questions out so you can answer them in the app and have them marked.
How much does it cost?
There is a free plan that includes the whole learning loop with monthly limits, and Premium at £7.99 a month for much higher limits, longer feedback and fuller progress history. You can change or cancel any time from Billing.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Revision Lab is built mobile first, so the same tests, marking, progress and library work in your phone's browser.
Is my work private?
Your tests, marks and library belong to your account and are not shown to anyone else. You can export or delete your data from Settings.
Ready to make revision feel manageable?
Start with one test. In ten minutes you will know which topics are costing you marks.
